The Googily Cakally Goo

The Googily Cakally Goo

The googily Cakally Goo

Was a gangster of a beast!

It only ate the finest food

Except for all the meat.

It ate the s’mores at the campfire

And never left them for

The campers who made the s’mores.

Now I told you,

Now you know,

Never feed the Googily Goo!

Last Winter

Last winter I went to Jay Peak.  It is a ski resort.  It also has a water park.  I had a wonderful time!

In the water park there were three tube slides.  It also had two other slides.  There was a rock wall in a pool.  The rock wall was hard to climb.

My dad hit a tree snowboarding, and my brother threw up.  Since my dad hit a tree, my brother couldn’t ski.  After we got home, we waited for about a month, and then my dad and brother went back to Jay Peak to ski.

Last winter I also went sledding on a very large hill.  I went with my dad, and we wiped out a lot!

Into the Woods!

I went on the best field trip in my life! I went to Profile Falls. You will wish you were there!

There were very large rocks by a beautiful waterfall there. The site was just wonderful.

For lunch my classmates and I had squirrel, bobcat, black bear, turkey, and squash all cooked by fire. The food I like was the black bear, turkey, and squash.

After lunch we went to the river. In the river we went on a scavenger hunt in the river to find macroinvertebrates. I found one with two tails.

Later, Jadon and I built a sculpture in a tree. We used sticks, leaves, and moss. Then we packed up and left.

The Big Balloon!

One day at school, a balloon landed on the soccer field.  It was awesome!

The fire from it was more than ten feet tall.  A kid in our school looked in the basket, and the man in the basket made fire come out.  It scared him so bad that he fell down!

The fire was really hot.  It was probably ninety degrees.  It only took two big tanks.  Three people could fit in the basket.

Every grade from the high school and the elementary came out.

Last Summer

Last summer I went to Six Flags.  I rode the roller coasters and the rides.  I went on a giant waterside.  I went so fast down the slide that my skin was vibrating!

Later, I went to a park; I did the monkey bars and the rock wall.

Last summer, I also went to Pennsylvania.  I went on the boat with my grandmother, and I went to the river.

When I got home from visiting my grandmother, I built a fort across the street from my house by the shore of a river.  I played in the fort with my brothers and spied on the cards going by on the street.

Last summer I went camping.  I slept in a tent with my family in the woods.  We had a campfire and toasted marshmallows and made s’mores.  They were yummy.

I found my plants in my yard.  Some were tall.  Most had leaves.  I grouped them in two groups–with leaves and without leaves.IMG_3827 IMG_3828 IMG_3829

Where I’m From

I’m from fireworks every Fourth of July.

I’m from skiing down my favorite hill.

I’m from camping in the woods so dense

And hiking on the mountain tops.

I’m from swimming in the warm and cold,

And biking to the library.

I’m from reading on the couch so comfy.
